Breastfeeding Talks and Workshops: We Welcome Collaboration Opportunities
The Baby-Friendly Hospital Initiative Hong Kong Association is dedicated to promoting breastfeeding and fostering a family-friendly culture. Over the years, we have partnered with various local service organizations to organize antenatal talks, breastfeeding workshops, parent education programmes, and volunteer training activities. Our partners have included the Against Child Abuse (ACA), Hong Kong Young Women’s Christian Association (HKYWCA), Mother’s Choice, and District Health Centres.
In addition, we have provided consultation services to hotels and corporate organizations on establishing breastfeeding-friendly workplaces and baby care rooms, as well as delivering training programmes for management and staff. These initiatives help create more supportive environments for breastfeeding families.
We welcome collaboration with service organizations, corporations, schools, and community groups to promote breastfeeding and baby-friendly practices together.

Brief Introduction to the organizers
Baby Friendly Hospital Initiative Hong Kong Association [BFHIHKA]
In 1992, the Hong Kong Committee for UNICEF formed the Baby Friendly Hospital Initiative Committee in order to promote and support breastfeeding in Hong Kong. This Committee has been organising activities to raise awareness for breastfeeding, for example the World Breastfeeding Week in Hong Kong. The Committee was registered as Baby Friendly Hospital Initiative Hong Kong Association (BFHIHKA) in June 1994. We aim to promote breastfeeding and protect infant health. We are committed to create a health care and societal environment that enables parents and other caregivers to make informed decisions about optimal infant feeding and carry them through.
