Breastfeeding facilities

Whenever babies feel hungry, mothers are encouraged to breastfeed their baby in a nearby clean area, provided especially for their comfort. And the lack of breastfeeding facilities is found to be a reason for mothers to stop breastfeeding. Indeed, it is easy to set up a babycare room for mothers to nurse their babies. It needs:

  • a clean, private, multi-purpose space (not a toilet) with a table and comfortable chair to breastfeed or express milk and an electric outlet in order to pump milk as necessary.
  • a sink, soap, water, and paper towels nearby for cleaning hands and equipment.
